squidoo tips to help profit
After you have spent some time on the planning and researching of your new squidoo lens and then got down and put your ideas online are you just going to sit quietly and hope the traffic starts coming along all on their own. if that sounds anything like a plan of attack to you then you need to find out just what happens after you publish your lens. After you have taken the time to do all your keyword research and wrote your articles and other information you’ll have published the lens, with publishing you start a chain of action. normally within 24 hours the red check mark on your dashboard will move to green but this is only your way of knowing squidoo likes your lens and has approved it into its system, it has nothing to do with Google indexing your lens into the search engines.
After years of looking I must say that you will never determine exactly what will get you into the search engines and indexed with Google. They change the rules all the time and what may be a must do this week may well mean nothing next month. That being said experience has showed me that a few simple thing do seem to last the test of time
they are:
1) add the URL of your squidoo lens to social bookmarks such as Digg, Delicious, Stumble Upon and Tweeter.
2) start using RSS feed, the URL of your lens to RSS feeder sites.
3) Write a few articles based around the lens and include your URL in the resource box.
4) Start Bloging about you page and always include your lens link as anchor text within your post.
5) Place a link from your lens to an advertisement blog such as 3Adsteps or other high pr site.
The five basic steps above are within the abilities of everyone to influence the success of their lens with as little work as possible and should insure that not only the Squidoo lens will be indexed by Google but if you do them to well, it will help your lens to be on the first page of a search results for your keywords
